Wheaton College students and staff have worked closely with us to host food drives and even had a human "food chain" of volunteers deliver items to the pantry.
We often work with students from the Hunger House, the Community Service Council (CSC) and other student groups, as well as those enrolled in a course entitled "Feast or Famine: The Ecology and Politics of Food," so they can see firsthand how families are struggling to put food on their tables.
Under the direction of Dean Vereene Parnell, The Office of Service, Spirituality and Social Responsibility collaborates with the pantry to learn of our most pressing needs, and to help determine a plan of action to meet those needs. We are grateful for this partnership which is essential in providing consistent support
for the ongoing challenges the pantry faces.
We encourage Wheaton College students to take an active role in their community and appreciate their help.
Monetary donations are always appreciated. Donate to The Cupboard of Kindness through PayPal.
